Engel and Weigert become Co-Producers on Roland Emmerich’s $200 million picture “2012” |

Principal photography on Uncharted Territory’s family adventure “Raising Phoenix” to follow. Uncharted Territory owners Volker Engel and Marc Weigert have joined director Roland Emmerich and producer Harald Kloser as co-producers and visual effects supervisors on Emmerich's new sci-fi action adventure “2012,” to be distributed by Sony Pictures. Postproduction is alomst finished on the Sony lot in Culver City. The release of this visual effects tour de force is scheduled for November 13, 2009. Uncharted Territory’s own production, the family adventure “Raising Phoenix,” will start pre-production following the completion of “2012” next summer. Marc Weigert will direct the family adventure written by L.A. scribe Kurt Frey. Engel will produce.
